During installation, the rogue program copies self to certain process, drops an icon file and creates a data file, a desktop shortcut and a Start menu item during installation. In addition, it modifies the system registry to ensure that it runs each time you start your computer. Once executed, it performs a fake scan of your computer, and falsely claims that a number of files on your computer are infected with malware. If you click on Remove All button, it advises you that you need to pay money to register the program in order for it to do so.
